Do you have some Christmas Card making on your to-do list? Today we have some crafty card inspiration from Designer Iris Babo Uy using both of our new Christmas lines, It's Christmas and A Christmas Story! Iris's cards are so fantastic! The very best part is they are quick, affordable and beautiful!
She's even included some simple instructions on how she made each of her pretty holiday greetings! Her first card was made with It's Christmas by Allison Kreft!
First, cut the base card. Iris used the Wintergreen paper from the It’s Christmas collection and cut it to 8 x 6 inches then folded in the center and rounded the corners.
Next, she cut the top card slightly smaller than the base card (approximately 5.5 x 3.5 inches) and adhered both cards together. North Pole paper from It’s Christmas is what Iris chose for her card.
After that, she added a tag cut from patterned paper and adhered it to her card. Dear Santa paper is what Iris used. She then cut a thin strip of red paper from the Christmas Spirit paper and attached under the tag to make it look like a ribbon.
Finally, Iris added her favorite buttons, flowers, and paper clips (Bubble and Star are shown above) for some finishing touches!
Iris's next card was created using our new Classic line, A Christmas Story!
Here's how she made it!
First, Iris chose the Nutcracker patterned paper from A Christmas Story, cut it to 4 x 6 inches, and rounded the corners.
She then attached the mini bags and wrapped a gold tinsel ribbon over the top, also adding stickers from the Tag and Prompt Sticker set, a cameo and flowers.
Next, Iris adhered the paper clip stars from the Bubble and Star Designer Paperclip set using a liquid glue. While the glue was still wet, she brushed on some gold powder where the white glue was showing to both cover up the blue and add more touches of gold to her card.
Finally, she finished with buttons, and a sentiment!
We hope you enjoyed Iris's tutorials and are inspired to create some beautiful Christmas greetings to share with your loved ones!! Happy Holidays from Webster's Pages! Wishing you all the very best this season ~ Love, Warmth and Hugs from us to you! xo
